After studying abroad at the University of Texas, he managed overseas sales companies at Seiko Instruments Inc. and worked in financial sales at ORIX's overseas subsidiaries. He developed new tax consulting solutions in Japan and gained more than 100 clients. In 2010, he and his colleagues spun out and established Opti Corporation on November 11, 2010. He has been commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and other organizations to provide consulting and write tax articles on European value-added tax. Currently, the tax and data divisions provide services to over 400 clients, mainly major manufacturing companies. In 2012, he acquired the primary distributor rights in Japan for "OneSource," a corporate database developed by Avention, Inc. of the U.S. On January 10, 2013, he established OneSource Japan, Inc. as a group company and became its representative director. OneSource Japan Inc. has developed the service in Japan together with Nikkei Media Marketing Inc. as a sales agent, and has now established the service as a service used by many companies in the consulting industry and financial institutions. In January 2016, he was appointed as Japan Country Manager for Tax Back International, one of the world's largest VAT refund providers, and is currently developing Tax Back's services in Japan.
