After I found out that I needed to register for VAT, I searched around to see if I could do it myself, but there was very little information available, probably because it was the early days of cross-border EC. I was in such a situation when I stumbled upon OPTI, which specializes in this field, and I decided to ask an expert to take care of the taxation aspect, since the rules change every year and it is difficult to deal with the taxation aspect, and the time available for dealing with it by myself is limited.
SO FAR, OPTI HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN THE SPEED OF THEIR RESPONSE. THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR VAT REGISTRATION WERE PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT AS THEY DIFFERED FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY, BUT THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR CAREFUL SUPPORT. THERE WERE SOME UNFAMILIAR DOCUMENTS SUCH AS APOSTILLE (LAUGHS).
